DIY Essential Oil Face Moisturizer

OILS OILS and More OILS

Here is my face lotion I made for this week. I love this lotion and it is way better then the $80 I have spent on skin care before. The cost is less then $5.
Frankincense oil is the most amazing oil. It has anti-aging qualities that promote the regeneration of skin cells.The Egyptians used this centuries ago for the mummification and embalming process. You can tell by one use how well it works.
Lavender oil is the best for acne. Also good for toner,wrinkles and eczema.
Lemon Oil is good for increasing the luster of dull skin. It is detoxifying and rejuvenates tired and sagging skin. It makes my skin very soft, blemish free. Very radiating.
Carrot oil is a natural SPF of 30 to 50
Recipe Below. Depending on how oily you want it you can add more oil or more lotion.If my skin is dry I'll add more oil that week or month.

2 ounce salve Jar (These come in amber also. I got blue for my boys.You can get these on amazon)
1 ounce Coconut Oil (jojoba for sensitive skin)
1 ounce Lotion(I Like Dr. Bronners lotion)
4 drops Frankincense Oil
2 drops Lavender Oil
2 Drops Lemon Oil
2 drops Carrot Oil
Mix together and done. If your using coconut, make sure the oil is melted but do not heat in the microwave. I usually put it in warm water.

Randoms Eats Lately

Some food from recently. I can't not say how important it is to eat fermented foods! Your gut is the most important part of your body! Here is a post I wrote about fermented foods a few weeks back on my Instagram.

Did you know that most countries consume 5% to 40% of fermented foods in their diet everyday. This is slowly decreasing because of the Western Diet that consist of food high in animal fat. Fermented foods from drinks,vegetables, beans, tempeh to wine have amazing nutrients for the digestive tract. This ancient preparation and preservation gives beneficial enzymes and different strands of probiotics healing your gut. Your gut is the biggest component of your immune system and is where 95% of the absorption and nutrients take place. When your digestive tract is healthy your immune system will be healthy thus fighting off infection.If you have any stomach problems fermented foods are therapeutic and healing for the body. It is so easy to make fermented vegetables at home and it is a really cheap food. It is very important to make it at home because a jar in the super market has been pasteurized and heated killing all the beneficial nutrients leaving it pointless to consume. You are what you eat.

Pickled soy sprouts


Baked sweet potato with quinoa and white rice, sauerkraut, green beans, lima beans and green fungus mushrooms.


This plate doesn't have any fermented foods but I always eat some with one meal a day.

Lavender and Sleep

So I tried Lavender  for my sleep the other night and can I tell you it was the most amazing thing ever! I applied it down my whole spine because my back was hurting and it immediately made my back at ease and I feel aseep like a baby! I also had some diffusing as well. I could do this every night. I can't imagine what it would feel like with Stress Away or Peace and Calming.

Berry Smoothie with Super Foods

Berry Smoothie with Camu Powder, Lucuma Powder and Raw Manuka Honey



Ingredients:
6 cups frozen berries
1 Banana
3 cups apple or orange juice
1 tablespoon Camu powder
1 tablespoon Lucuma power
1 tablespoon Manuka Honey

Add all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Add some frozen berries on top and mint for garnish.

Curry Vegetables with Salmon and Sweet Potato Mash

I love sweet potatoes. I really love them fried but they are really bad for you to eat on a consistent basis so I make mashed sweet potatoes. I put some fresh sauteed garlic and coconut milk to make them creamy. I would have these any day over regular potatoes. I made them this morning with some stir fried vegetable curry.
Curry is also another amazing health food I can never get enough of. I stir fried vegetables with some coconut oil, garlic,ginger,curry powder,fish sauce and basil oil. Getting a good grade curry is so important. When I go to the regular store and get curry powder I always have to use tons of the powder.The curry powder I use is from either a Asian store or Indian store. I literally use half a tablespoon and that is it. I posted a  picture below of a good quality curry powder.




Curry vegetables
4 cups vegetables
1 cup cherry tomatoes
4 tablespoons coconut oil
4 gloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons ginger minced
1/2 tablespoon curry powder
Fish sauce to taste, about 1/2 tablespoon.Salt is a good substitute
Pepper to taste
Heat pan on medium heat.Add coconut oil. When the coconut oil is hot add the ginger and garlic. Add the vegetables and stir well. Cook vegetables through. If your using tomatoes you can throw those in after you turn off the pan. Cover it and let sit a few minutes. The tomatoes will cook perfectly. You don't want them breaking open. Add fish sauce or salt and pepper to taste.

Sweet Potato Mash
2 sweet potatoes
4 tablespoons coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon sauteed garlic

Boil sweet potatoes til soft. Rinse water out then mashed til creamy. Add coconut milk and garlic. Mix well for a more creamy texture.

Kinda Cropped Pom Pom Top

It is finally staying in the 70s here and I am absolutely ecstatic! I love this kinda crop top. Pom Pom tops are a must for summer. This top is perfect for summer days and super comfy too. It doesn't really show your stomach just kind of the sides. I actually bought it without trying it on thinking it would cover. It didn't but I still love it. I so love the pom pom design lining the bottom. I have also worn it with skinny jeans and a black cardigan also.

Relax Mamas

So I named this post relax mama because I know I have a lot of mama followers but this is great for anyone having a rough day. These oils seriously take the stress away and calm me so much. When I am having a really stressful day and my mind is going a hundred miles a minute these make me feel amazingly free. It is like I have had my shoulders up to my head all day and the minute I diffuse these I feel like my shoulders are hanging low, my mind is blank and calm.They make me sleep like a baby too! It is seriously amazing!

Add 3 drops on each of these oils in your diffuser and have an amazing relaxing evening.The best nights sleep too. You can add less oil also. I prefer 4-6 in mine. Usually 6.


Stress Away oil is amazing. I can really smell the vanilla and lime in it which is great for calming.It is also made with copaiba and lavender which restores your equilibrium. It is so important to restore your equilibrium. If you don't know, your equilibrium is restoring your system, taking all the bad influences away, restoring it back to a stable and balanced life. All the negative or stresses of life can be life changing. It can make you have anxiety or make you have migraines which in my case I have. It can even make you hurt physically. Your body can be sore or just being tired all the time. Stress is a killer and can ruin a whole day or week for some people even their whole life. Sometimes I overthink  which causes my stress. This oil is amazing and just relaxes me back to be care free and open.

White Angelica is also amazing. With myrhh that was used in ancient times this oil makes me feel my spirit open up. Everyone has an aura. An aura is a halo that surrounds your whole body. It should be bright and colorful. It represents your physical, mental,emotional and spiritual being. Healthy people tend is have a brighter aura where as unhealthy people don't and tend to have bits of black.Your aura is energy that connects to everything, people, trees, animals THE UNIVERSE. It is so important to keep your aura bright by maintaining a healthy mind, body, spirit. Everything is made up of energy including your aura that is why it is so important to be around healthy energy to maintain a healthier balance stable life.

I have so much gratitude for my friend Jamie who introducing me to these oils. They have changed life completely and could never imagine my life without them.
